My partner – a submarine guide with a focus on modernist buildings – guided this afternoon two transporters around. They just had delivered a loading of tantalum in the supply-zone of the region.
Rough men they are, adventurers, a hybrid of the troubadour and the pirat, excellent practitioners of aikido. When my partner mentioned the situation of the Cyborg Seat of Muses as an example of the current political situation, one of the transporters proposed The Bluewater system as a solution. Kolas took it as a joke first, but the transporter was serious. He believed the tv-series of The Bluewater diaries broad casted about half a century ago, had not been mere tv, but reality tv.
I only remember the stories my grandmother used to tell me, how people would be selected for the colonisation of space, but I had always interpreted them as mere myths, contemporary fairy tales, and so had Kolas. Well, now this man states the Bluewater might have been real. In any case, he says the space ship was furnished with an installation they called the ‘Recycler’. A first search leads to the following description: ‘the main interface to disposal unit. All organic material is deposited here, including dead bodies, and digested by specially genetically modified bacteria to become a food source for other genetically modified organisms to turn it back into edible matter, which is released as a kind of baked dorito like snack.’
If it really has been invented, why isn’t it in use? And more why don’t I find back a sample of it in the archive of the museum?

Brussels, 2107, The Cyborg Seat of the Muses

䷇ The Cyborg Seat of the Muses has been run by me now 4 as many as 9 years. ䷉ We have more than 11 meatspacers and 25 billion lysospacers a day. ䷏ I don’t know of any institution representing the heart of occidental culture being that successful. ䷨ Giving up spaces for greenhouses, as is asked for by our president, would induce a reduction of the art works present. ䷣ This would mean a reduction of experiences, visitors and in the long run, a reduction of personnel, opening hours or in other words, ䷻ privileging some earth citizens above others.
䷍ As the host of the Manfred Clynes’ first Sentograph of 1967, ䷰ the object of the speechless revolution, I find it my duty to try as much as possible to cancel the noise in this all but too ridiculously scaring news ䷃ that food would become scarce. ䷌ As the same man – Manfred Clynes – has stated when he coined the word ‘Cyborg’ now more than 150 years ago, I would like to stress the idea of going for ䷟ a solution that is more human and durable on the long term, because “The purpose of the Cyborg, as well as his own homeostatic systems, is to provide an organizational system in which such robot-like problems are taken care of automatically and unconsciously, ䷧ leaving man free to explore, to create, to think, and to feel.”

䷒ This first blogpost is preceded by another post, a message from our regional president to all responsables of public institutions and seats of muses. She’s asking to free up part of our spaces for the cultivation of gm-vegetables.

䷐ I understand her position. She desires to improve the wellness of the local population by providing more vitamine B1 and having us all eating fennel and chervil soup.

䷅ But it has to be said that her preference to colonize preinstalled renovated and used spaces for that, can be called particular. Especially when you know how many abandoned buildings and desolated wastelands exist outside of the flooding area. ䷎ In all modesty I suspect the president of keeping a secret agenda for the means reserved for the exploitation of food, existential laziness or a boycot of our institutions. Time will tell. ䷆ I give her and myself a chance to win this challenge. That is why I invest my very little googles in this blog and ask you, surfers, to spread my posts as much as possible. ䷥
