RT: Before going into the inner workings of Shmoogle can you talk a little about your educational background?

TH: First, I studied mathematics, then computer science in Tel Aviv, and then I worked for a while in the high tech industry. After that, I decided to combine my education and experience with culture / art and moved to new media – I started with one year in the SNM (Studienbereich Neue Medien ) department at the HGKZ (Hochshcule fur Gestaltung und Kunst, Zurich), and then moved to Piet Zwart Institute.  And to clarify a little, when I say I studied math – that means, “pure” (i.e. unapplied) math.
