CIAO & Tot Later are different versions of the same fictional story.
CIAO is the cyber translation of Tot Later, a novel in print with the same title, but written in Dutch, my mothertongue. About 1% of all webtravellers speak Dutch. Approximately 1% of my neighbours speak Dutch. I wanted to give this story back to as many people as helped create it. That is why I decided to experiment with this digital infrastructure, but in English.

a production of Constant with the support of Vlaamse Gemeenschapscommissie.
Tot Later is ook een boek, waarvan de auteursversie schitterend is vormgegeven door Open Source Publishing. Je kan het hier lezen en downloaden als pdf. De auteursversie is gepubliceerd onder een Free Art License, wat betekent dat je de tekst kan veranderen, herschrijven, remixen en opnieuw verspreiden mits je gebruik maakt van dezelfde licentie. Dit is de eerste roman in de Nederlandstalige literatuur die wordt verspreid met een Free Art License. Voor mij als auteur ligt in dit soort licenties een groot potentieel voor onze toekomstige cultuurbeleving. Verz!n publiceerde mijn ideeën hierover in hun juni-nummer. Ik ben dan ook erg benieuwd naar het verloop van dit boek. Dus als je een afgeleid werk publiceert, hoor ik het graag!
